Computer Refurbishing & E-Waste

 

 

Goodwill has a computer refurbishing program that allows us to refurbish used computers and re-sale them. Basically taking parts from old computers  and rebuilding other computers.  Recycling is our main goal.  What is still applicable we use, what isn’t we break apart and sale to companies that converts the waste into reusable material. We use a program known as “Eraser” to delete any information that is still retained in the computer itself so that no ones’ personal information is left on the hard drive. We refurbish the computers to higher Pentium 3’s and 4’s.  They tend to run anywhere from $150.00 to $300.00.
